funds for Norristown fire victims
The Ebenezer Foundation has partnered with local organizations to host an effort to help Norristown families displaced by a Fire on November 27, 2024 (day before Thanksgiving) have a joyous holiday season and get back on their feet. Our goal is to present each family with a $1000.00 gift card before Christmas.
Over 30 residents and 11 families have been affected. The families were placed in a local shelter immediately following the fire by the American Red Cross.
“The People in our community still desperately need our help after their lives were changed forever by this fire. To help us all remember that the losses caused by the fire remain, we have partnered up to bring them some smiles and hand up this holiday season”
Thank you to the Norristown Fire Department and the many fire departments that successfully knocked the fire out without any reported injuries. Thank you to the American Red Cross, Ebenezer Methodist Church, Norristown Area School District and SEPTA who all came together to help these families on short notice.
